ZEUS Exchange is a decentralized trading platform that operates through smart contracts deployed on the Base blockchain network. By accessing or using the platform, users acknowledge and accept the terms and risks described in this disclaimer.

The platform is not designed to provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or any form of managed trading service. All decisions made on the platform are the sole responsibility of the user.

No Guarantees or Warranties

ZEUS Exchange and its associated services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. The protocol does not guarantee:

• The security, reliability, or uninterrupted operation of the platform or its smart contracts.

• That the platform will meet any specific requirements or expectations of any individual user.

• That transactions executed through the platform will be free from errors, delays, or vulnerabilities.

• Any specific level of trading fees, reward distributions, or protocol revenue in any given period.

Risk Acknowledgment

By using ZEUS Exchange, users acknowledge that:

• Trading in digital assets and derivatives, including perpetual futures with leverage, carries a high level of risk and may result in significant or total loss of funds.

• Leveraged positions can be liquidated rapidly in volatile market conditions, resulting in the loss of the entire collateral amount.

• The value of digital assets is inherently volatile and may change significantly in short periods of time.

• Smart contracts may contain undiscovered vulnerabilities or bugs that could result in the loss or inaccessibility of funds, even after independent security audits.

• Decentralized platforms are exposed to risks including hacking, front-running, oracle manipulation, and other adversarial activities.

• Past performance of any trading strategy, epoch reward, or protocol metric does not guarantee future results.

Regulatory Compliance

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of ZEUS Exchange complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. This includes but is not limited to laws governing trading in digital assets, derivatives, and decentralized finance platforms.

Access to the ZEUS Exchange interface or smart contracts may be restricted in certain jurisdictions where providing such services is regulated or prohibited. Users who access the platform from restricted jurisdictions do so at their own risk and are solely responsible for any legal consequences.

ZEUS Exchange does not assume liability for regulatory actions taken against users as a result of their activities on the platform.

Derivatives and Leverage Risk

ZEUS Exchange offers leveraged perpetual futures trading with up to 30x leverage. Leveraged trading amplifies both potential gains and potential losses. A small adverse price movement can result in the loss of the entire collateral deposited for a position. Users should fully understand how leverage, funding rates, liquidation mechanics, and mark pricing work before opening leveraged positions. These mechanics are described in detail in the Trading and Hybrid Liquidity and Pricing model sections of this document.

Limitation of Liability

ZEUS Exchange, its developers, contributors, and affiliated entities shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or loss of profits.

Users assume full responsibility for all transactions they initiate on the platform. No refunds or reversals are possible once a transaction has been executed and confirmed on the Base blockchain.

Changes and Amendments

ZEUS Exchange reserves the right to modify or update this disclaimer, the protocol parameters, and the interface at any time, with or without prior notice, including in response to security incidents or changes in applicable laws and regulations. Users are encouraged to review this section regularly. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
